Dahlia Seeds

Dahlia flowers closely resemble the Zinnia flower in appearance. Their large, double petaled blooms open up to a width of roughly 2 to 2.5 inches wide, displaying colors of red, purple, pink, white, yellow and orange. Butterflies, as well as bumblebees and honeybees will cling to these beauties all through the Summer months.

Plant dwarf varieties in pots & containers, or directly in the garden, and plant taller varieties along driveways, walkways and fences. Deadheading and pruning is the best method of promoting fresh flowers throughout the Summer months. Dahlias are annual flowering plants, so cold temperatures and frost will immediately kill them.
