Single Packet of 100 Seeds
Populate a fence or trellis with the gorgeous Caprice Morning Glory, from freshly harvested Ipomoea purpurea seeds. Caprice will produce gorgeous pale blue flowers, accented with a dull purple, colored star. Each trumpet shaped bloom will open to a diameter of roughly 2 to 3 inches wide. The plants themselves can grow to great lengths of 10 to 15 feet long and display hundreds of heart shaped leaves along it's vining stems. Caprice is similar to other varieties of Morning glory, such as Shiva, Milky Way, Blue Star and more.
The flowers will bloom through the summer months, attracting all sorts of beneficial insects to the garden, such as butterflies, bumblebees, honeybees and more. These beautiful vines are planted to add mounds of colorful foliage and flowers to fences, railings, pillars and more. They are best sown with supports, but can also trail the ground, spreading outwards if a support is not available for them to cling to.
Caprice Morning Glory, like most Morning Glory varieties, is considered an annual flowering plant. Annuals will grow quickly from freshly harvested seeds, producing hundreds of leaves and flowers along it's ving stems. When the Autumn season arrives, the plants will wilt and wither with the cold temperatures, later allowing seeds to form for a successful growth in the season to follow.
