Nasturtium is one of our most popular, edible wildflowers available. The seeds, leaves and flowers are all used in their own way, adding color and flavor to salads. Nasturtium flowers come in various shades of yellow, red and orange and attract many beneficial insects to the garden. Categorized as an annual flowering plant, Tropaeolum will grow quickly from freshly harvested seeds, later dying with the first frost.
Be cautious of the sowing medium used with these plants as they can be a bit tricky to achieve blooms. If the soil is too rich, you will end up with more foliage and little to no flowers.
