Single Packet of 100 Seeds
Grow Cal Sweet Watermelon from fresh Citrullus lanatus melon seeds. Cal Sweet will produce deliciously sweet fruits that weigh anywhere from 30 to 35 pounds. The hard outer skin is striped with green on green and the flesh is deep red. Each round fruit measures roughly 12 to 14 inches in diameter. The seeds are fairly small so it isn't a problem to pick them out before enjoying on a hot summer day.
The plants themselves will grow to a mature height of roughly 8 to 10 inches tall and will grow outwards taking up about 8 to 10 feet or so. Each vine will produce somewhere between 2 to 4 melons, depending on growing conditions. These juicy snacks will be ready for harvesting in about 85 to 90 days after first sprouts appear.
